With the time running out in the test, and Naruto failing to answer any questions he decides to stake the entire test on the last question. The instructor has some new rules for this last question, answer correctly and you will be ok, answer incorrectly and you will stay a lower ninja the rest of your days. Will Naruto answer the question, or forefeit for the entire group?

Our ninjas are all set to take their first test. Only to find out that it is a written test, and a written test that is nearly impossible to complete. Our ninjas must use all of their available skills to search out and determine the correct answers. Will our ninjas be able to pass this test, or will Naruto ruin the chance for his team to continue?

We are introduced to many our of the new ninjas taking the middle exam. Lower ninjas come from all over the country to take this test. Many of them much more powerful than our group. They are introduced to the administrator of the first test. How many of these talented ninjas will pass the first exam of the middle ninja test?

LeeRock challeges Sasuke to a fight. As talented as Sasuke is he can not keep up with the extremely fast and powerful Lee. Even after using his Sharingan he still can not keep up. The fight is iterrupted by Lee’s sensei Gai. If this is one of the ninjas they are facing in the middle ninja exam is our team really ready?

We meet many new ninjas in this episode and discover that while Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are very talented young ninjas they are far from being the best. Kakashi explains to them that they are to take the middle ninja exam, but can first can they pass the pre-test?

• Watch Naruto Shippuden episode 63 online - Two Kings : Yamato plans for the team to train together to learn formations, but Asuma convinces him that since Sora and Naruto do not work best as a team, they should train as individuals. Asuma continues supervising their chakra blade training, telling them to focus their chakra, and notices that Sora, like Naruto, has very powerful chakra. Tsunade and Yamato learn from Chiriku that Sora was inadvertently responsible for an incident in which the Temple of Fire was destroyed. Asuma has lunch with Sora and Naruto, giving Sora a claw made from the same materials as his chakra blades. It is revealed that Sora’s father Kazuma planned to kill the Feudal Lord but Asuma intervened and ended up killing Kazuma. Furido then approaches Sora, telling him that Asuma is responsible for his father’s death and giving him two “king” pieces from a Shogi set to give to Asuma. Danzo mysteriously disappears. Naruto approaches an angry Sora in the training grounds, while Sora refuses to answer his questions, and easily throws a chakra-powered kunai through the tree and additionally destroying the big stone behind it.

• The opening scene of the movie shows Naruto battling a monster, only to be killed by it. A funeral is held for Naruto in his home village, to which Sakura Haruno, Rock Lee and Neji Hyuuga are shown to attend, along with others. The setting then returns to a few days previous, where a man named Yomi (named after the Japanese word for “underworld”) attacks a shrine to retrieve the spirit of Mouryou, a demon who attempted to take over the world and create his “Thousand Year Kingdom”. Since he is lacking a body, Yomi offers his as a temporary substitute until they can retrieve Mouryou’s original one.The only threat to Mouryou’s plan is a priestess named Shion, who has the ability to seal his spirit away once more. He raises a stone army from their slumber to attack the rest of the world while his four subordinates go to eliminate Shion. They are given special chakra creatures to enhance their strength.

  To deal with the threat, Konohagakure sends out many advance teams to stall the stone army. Naruto, Sakura, Neji and Rock Lee are sent to guard Shion and deliver her to the shrine where Mouryou’s body is kept. They fend off Shion’s four would-be assassins, and, afterwards, Shion prophesies Naruto’s upcoming death. Shion’s total acceptance of “fate”, as well as her selfish attitude, provokes Naruto into antagonizing her. As they head for the shrine, they are again ambushed by the assassins and, ultimately, Shion is killed.

  This turns out to be a ruse: the dead “Shion” is actually a decoy. After Neji orders Naruto to escort Shion to the temple alone, Shion explains that her predictions work by using others’ lives to protect her own. Naruto insists that he will not die, and likewise will keep Shion safe.

  With teamwork, Neji, Lee and Sakura defeat the assassins, and at the mountain temple where Mouryou’s body is kept, Naruto and Shion find the stone army waiting. Naruto holds the army back while Shion heads inside to begin the sealing ritual. Yomi is already inside, and tricks Shion into beginning the technique with him inside the barrier, allowing Mouryou’s spirit to reunite with his body. With the stone army being destroyed by Kakashi, Shikamaru, and Temari, Naruto comes to rescue her. About to see her prediction of his death come true, she uses her power to change Naruto’s fate. She is able to tap into her true powers, intending to kill herself and Mouryou to save Naruto. Naruto stops her seconds before her death, and creates a gigantic rasengan with their combined chakra to destroy Mouryou.

  After the ending credits, Naruto asks Shion what she intends to do now. She replies that Mouryou was a demon caused by the dark thoughts of men, and that there is bound to be another Mouryou someday. Because of this, she says that she must continue the line of priestesses that will suppress demons like Mouryou. Shion then asks Naruto if he will help her (a double entendre asking if he will father her child), much to the surprise of Sakura, Kakashi, and Lee. Naruto ignorantly agrees.

Riding high off of their mighty victory in Country of the Wave our group of young ninjas discovers that they are put back to typical lower ninja tasks. They meet some very dangerous new ninjas who are in town for the Chuunin (Middle) ninja exam. Is our ninja group really ready for the middle ninja exam?
